It was of those gorgeous April days on Monday. High 70 degrees with a 5 - 10 mph breeze and I went to Amston Lake fishing. I bought a bunch of new soft baits for this years. This lake is very clean, so the exotic colors were pretty much ignored. I caught most of the fish on the standard green variations. I caught 2 yellow perch, 6 bass and 12 pickerel. The biggest bass was about 11 inches and the biggest pickerel was about 13 inches. Because of the wind, everything was fished with a 1/4 oz jig.
