Friday I fished Norwich Lake in Lyme, CT. It is a small lake (30 acres), located in Nehantic State Park. It was real windy (10-15kts) the day I fished, so I had real hard time fishing. Even the anchor couldn’t hold me in place. I was catching small bass and good sized pickerel fishing the weeds along the shore using a top plug and “creature” bait. Just before dark I caught a 17” bass on the top plug. It is about 20 miles away, but I will go back there, hopefully the weather will be better.
