A friend got me onto Amston Lake today, and the fishing was good. I started fishing around noon and it took about an hour to find something they liked. I caught most of the fish on Yamamoto Senkos, fished wacky style. For the first couple of hours I caught pickerels, then mostly bass. I caught 20 fish. I think it was 10 of each. The biggest pickerel was 20” and one bass was 15”. I promised my family that I will quit fishing for the day when I catch 20 fish. It is hard to believe, but they miss me.
